a classic cocktail bar with a theme
with the assistance of an architect we developed the design which included the vintage theme with consideration of workflow, ergonomics, code requirements, etc. the design included lighting and the sound system.
woodwork, metal fabrication, mechanics, etc., were all done on-site such as the bar counter but many elements also were fabricated off-site and then on site assembled and installed. only the basic work such as drywall, electric, plumbing was done by contractors.
we not only sourced vintage material and objects (lights, etc.) but also developed material specific patination methods. part of the building materials were salvaged from vintage buildings.
